Kupu (ELP)

Founded in 2007, Kupu has since grown from a startup to Hawaiʻi's largest youth-focused conservation nonprofit. Kupu operates over a dozen programs, providing youth and young adults with opportunities to learn, serve, and work in ways that uplift their potential and restore environmental well-being. These include alternative diploma programs, social enterprise, innovative environmental education programs, community-based national service conservation positions, and green jobs in conservation, sustainable agriculture, and other sustainability areas. All together, these programs provide paychecks, education, and life changing experiences to hundreds of youth and young adults annually.
