Since 2012, the Foundation has partnered with the University of Hawaiʻi to support graduate assistantship opportunities at the University of Hawaiʻi, Hilo
and Mānoa. This year, we are pleased to support ten graduate assistantship positions for the Fall 2023 school year. In addition to a tuition waiver, the students selected by the respective University programs for the assistantships will receive a salary and funds for supplies and professional development for two years. To learn more about the selection criteria and application requirements, please visit the links below for each of the schools hosting graduate assistantships. You may contact the schools directly should you have any questions about applying.
These graduate assistantship opportunities are part of Hauʻoli Mau Loa Foundation’s Environmental Leadership Pathways initiative, which partners with Hawaiʻi-based organizations that engage and prepare the next generation of environmental leaders in Hawaiʻi.
