We have found that asking our Summer Intern to complete a project is a good way for the intern to dig a little more deeply into something of substance; to extend their learning and demonstrate their capabilities; and to produce something of value for the Foundation. This year our Summer Intern, Sanoe Burgess, completed several projects. One of the projects she completed is an annotated bibliography of a range of resources related to the topic of affordable housing. We asked Sanoe to complete this project as we are embarking on a review of our affordable housing for families strategy. This annotated bibliography, organized by topic, provides a starting point for beginning this work. We are sharing it because we think it can be of value to others as they learn about and research the topic. I should add as a caveat, we did not ask Sanoe to include everything she found, but rather representative documents. So feel free to add to the list and share your additions with us. Mahalo piha to Sanoe for this resource.
