The mission of Kahua Paʻa Mua, Inc. is to enhance communities through economic, conservation/preservation, social and educational programs for youth and adults. They have an established Natural Farming Learning Lab in North Kohala where they offer periodic on-site training in areas of Korean Natural Farming Methods, crop production, animal husbandry (cattle, pigs, chickens) and making inputs (organic fertilizers using indigenous microorganisms). Their Hoʻokahua ʻAi mentorship program engages North Hawaiʻi youth through innovative mentorships, where they gain practical experience through hands-on learning and individualized instruction from community experts.
